In this episode of innovative learning on demand, we'll introduce you to Adobe Express and animate a character feature, a creative way to boost student engagement in your classroom. Animate a character lets you bring any image or character to life using your own voice. Simply record your message and Adobe Express animates a character to match your speech. When students use Animate a character, they can express ideas, tell stories, or explain concepts in a fun and interactive way. It's perfect for digital storytelling, presentations, quick formative assessments, or check-ins. Seeing their own words come alive, motivate students, and makes learning more meaningful. Here are some ideas for the classroom. Ready to try yourself? Let's see how you, as your students, can create your own animated character and Adobe Express. From the clever dashboard, click on Adobe Express. From here, you'll land on the Create tab, and you can find Animate a character inside Adobe Express. Then you'll get the choice of selecting a character. You have several categories to choose from, you have people, you have classroom items, you have animals, and so forth. So I chose here truffles the rabbit, which could be used to retell, for example, is up-table on the tortoise and the hair. You also have the option of selecting mouse only, and this is great for having a historical figure talk, and you can superimpose it over a picture or photograph. Now you can select a background. Again, you have many choices to choose from, seasons, outdoors, abstract items. So I have here a street, and I would recommend selecting a transparent background if you're using the mouse only. You can also change the size of your recording. I'm going to toggle on the enhanced speech. This will filter some background noise and make your voice sound more professional, and you have two minutes to record yourself. When you click record, it will give you a countdown, and then you can start recording. Once you're done with your recording, you select the done button. From here, it will upload your video. This does take a couple of minutes. Once it is finished uploading, you can download it to your device and then upload it to a presentation or into a canvas assignment, or you can also open it in editor. This will open it into an Adobe project. From here, you can easily share this presentation with a classmate, another student, or your teacher. You can just type in the name of the person and they will pop up. From here, you can play your animation, and you can see it take life. Thanks for watching. Now it's your turn.
