Here, you can paste content, upload PDFs or word file and choose the language for your card. This language feature is an excellent way to support ESOL learners. Providing content in their home language makes learning accessible, improves comprehension and enhances engagement. You can choose from three flashcard types, term and definition, question and answer, multiple choice or a mixture of the three. You can also generate hints for each card. Once you've made your selections and uploaded content for your cards, click generate and cue the magic. Be sure to review the generated flashcards for accuracy and appropriateness. To edit, click a flashcard. You can change the text, reorganize the cards by using the up and down arrows, preview a card by clicking the play icon on that card, and add pictures for maximum engagement and support. Note that these beautiful images are automatically populated, so you can quickly select the one that works for you. In this case, I'll change my search criteria and select a more appropriate image. Want some help from AI to tweak your cards? You can use the text box on the right to generate changes. For instance, simplify the explanation to use, include more questions about a specific concept, or, if scaffolding for your ESOL students, prompt the AI to translate all hints to Spanish. If you'd like to add your own cards, scroll down and select add a blank card, or generate more with AI. Once you're done, preview the activity using the play icon at the top of your page. Let's see what this will look like for your student. First card, I know this one. I don't know this one. Here's how I view the hint. Hmm, and I'll work through a few more. Note that there is a summary screen at the end that allows students to see their progress towards mastery. They can practice the whole deck again, or click retry mist to focus on what they need most. It's like having a personal coach built right in. Finally, once your set is ready, we'll exit preview mode and save the activity.
